Stray bus Day 1 - Auckland to Raglan
The start of the NZ hop on/hop off bus tour of the north and south island of NZ. Several bus operators offer these tours and I chose stray as they are not too partyish but not too boring either. I bought a 21 day pass with a 50% discount (as its off peak season).
I got dropped off in Auckland and start the trip solo as co travellers want to head north of Auckland for a few days. Plus it will be nice to have some independence! The bus is about half full and there is a really nice bunch of people on board. I am writing this 6 days after I got on so a lot has happened since I got on. I am now in Wellington having hopped off for a recharge and to explore the city.
