Mount Buffalo (V) to Broken Hill (NSW)
29th Sep - 3rd Oct 2012
Broken Hill is an isolated mining town in New South Wales. We were initially looking forward to going there, and to be fair the sun was well receievd but we couldn't help feel the place was rather errie and creepy...
below: shortly after leaving Mt Buffalo we pass through Everton and notice the village bus stop!
below: Mildura. Oh, and Ozzys love bowls!
below: near the outback. Watch out for kangaroos and emus!
below: oh, and roadtrains that flick stones up at your windscreen!
below: Broken Hill is famous for mining and for art galleries. We visit the most famous one; Pro Hart. Professor Hart spent decades down in the mines and painted to keep himself sane.

below: Broken Hill. It was here our first form of an attack occurred. Whilst wondering about I heard 'help!!'. I looked around and saw my co traveller buddy Dave being attacked by a crow! Me and Adam ran in the opposite direction and took cover. Adam tried to take a photo of Dave being attacked but then the crow went for him. This was when I made a run for it! All very bizarre and a sign to leave Broken Hill...?
