We have now left the island of Koh Toa and have moved two islands down to Koh Samui. Koh Toa is reckoned to be the more quiet of the three islands (the other being Koh Phanygan) and also the smallest. We had four nights there and were a bit reluctant to leave due to a nice hotel location by the sea, everything being in walking distance and a good chilled out vibe. Our most memorable day was walking from our side of the island on the west over a mountain to the east side to do some snorkelling. Not only was the walk totally punishing but the snorkelling location tip off proved to be well worth it. We had all sorts of fish and crabs but it was amazing. We had another adventurous walk involving passing a vicious dog. Most evenings were spent in a few pubs and later on the beach bar with bean bags or the nearby Lotus bar with seats facing the sea and fire dancers. We were in Koh Tao as the full moon party was going on so the following couple of days the island got busier and busier as full party mooners descended on little Koh Toa.
