below: our accommodation in Cheweng Beach. We picked it due to its excellent reviews on the internet. In reality it was a half hour walk into town, the place did not have breakfast as advertised and worst of all our room had bed bugs!!!

below: a stroll to the nearby night market resulted in some bargains. Here is my new casio watch which i got for 100 baht (2GBP), bartered down from 200 baht. To celebrate my new purchase I (and dave) bought a mojito cocktail for 50 baht (1GBP). The watch has since broke and the mojito dissolved some dental work dave had had done recently!
