Queenstown
13/11/12 - 17/11/12 (part 1)
Having a great time in Queenstown so far! I have caught up with the original gang on my stray bus and on the first night here it was really good to see them and have a catch up. They warned me Queenstown is like a vacuum - hard to get out of the cycle of going out, laying in and eating fergburgers. They have since left I am still here with most of the German gang. So far we have chilled out, gone for a bike ride around the lake, had a few nights out, tried the legendary ferg burger (massive delicious burger!) and enjoyed the sunshine. Also at the weekend I went for a 3 day trip down to Dunedin (see next post). I plan to leave Queenstown on Friday 25th.

below: Adventure hostel. Thanks to the germans for being on the ball and booking this hostel a week ago. With 98% rating it is excellent with great rooms, facilities, kitchen and friendliness.
